Oh well, fine, the boring business stuff.
Who I Am
I am a network engineer specializing in Internet technologies. I've been working in the industry
ever since there really -was- an industry. My first computer was an Imsai 8080, connected to a pair of
Digital Systems 8" floppy drives, and chatted at via a Soroc IQ120 terminal. This was lo in the days
around 1977, when David Ahl was known by all, and the Zilog Z80 was King
Nowadays I'm primarily dealing with Unix systems and networking technologies based around TCP/IP.
If you're -really- interested in the Nitty Gritty [tm], my resume is available below.
What I'm Working On
Now, I wouldn't be a proper computer geek if I didn't have several projects going on at once, now
would I? Well, lets get down to brass tacks:
- CONGO - I'm giving a go at working full time on my
own business. CONGO is a registration system for small to medium sized conventions. Got an event
you need online reg, onsite checkin and on the fly badging? Get in touch with me!
- Planet Geek - I spend a lot of time posting to my
blog. It's my platform for chattering about things I see, things I"m doing, and stuff I think
is interesting to share.
